In the summer of 2020, we will still be uneasy about the direction of the Rotary relationship between members. Although the mantra of hands faces will certainly be part of our ongoing routine it is apparent that confidence is building and connections between face-to-face are being made. But Rotary has changed. We are in the summer of 2021 and the uncertainty about whether Rotary will be able to offer the same level of human interaction that Rotary members experienced in the past continues. While the traditional 'hands in face space' is sure to remain a part of our daily practice, it's evident that trust is growing and connections between face-to-face are happening. Rotary is evolving. The Rotary network helps build friendships lasting. The outbreak of the pandemic was an impetus for us to take on technology. Our practices have been refined to ensure that we have online meetings within our workplaces, as well as introducing services and social activities in a face-toface format. The new possibilities were accompanied by the best practices for preventing pandemics to create a new and exciting prospects for Rotary. It was encouraging to learn that 75% of Rotary clubs are planning to carry on their "business regular" routines. In the summer months, many Rotary members have been out in public focusing on various initiatives, including beach and river tidy-ups and trash pick-ups. Listen to this article 1.
